The Limon Waterfall

Watching the humpback whales is one in a lifetime experience! The whales come each year in the bay of Samana for the winter (January to end of March). There are several thousands coming to the warm and calm waters of the Caribbean, in order to mate or give birth.

Samaná
The Samaná Peninsula remains a secluded, paradisiacal escape of wild beaches, coconut plantations, and rainforests. Its rolling mountains and valleys form the crystalline rivers that feed into the Atlantic, as they cascade toward brilliant white sand beaches stretching hundreds of kilometers all around the peninsula’s rocky coastline.
Los Haitises National Park
Los Haitises National Park is a national park located on the remote northeast coast of the Dominican Republic that was established in 1976. It consists of a limestone karst plateau with conical hills, sinkholes and caverns, and there is a large area of mangrove forest on the coast.
